AUDIO-VISUAL MEETING ROOM

Back in the days, this was the place where the
brass baths were located. Today an audiovisual explanation is projected here, prior to the visit to the factory. It is also a meeting place for conferences, presentations, courses and other events.
Given the fact
that the flooring was very deteriorated by corrosion refurbishing works had to
be carried out in this chamber such as new forged flooring. The fragile condition mentioned above was
hazardous, therefore it was decided then to pave it with rustic floor tiles,
and with a "zócalo a cartabón” (a type of plinth made to measure) finished
up with a wooden ornamental mould.
The old concrete
sinks, where the brass pieces were dipped-in long time ago, were recovered and
preserved. These have been turned into tables for display covered in old and
recycled sturdy brick, on the side and by different types of wood on the
top. All the windows and ceilings were
restored. At the end of the room, an arch made out of recycled sturdy brick was
built. Nowadays, this arch is used as a support for the audio-visual
projections.
