ARTISTIC MODELS AND MOLDS

In here, you could find the original bathing
area. The strong chemical products used
for these metal baths damaged this area heavily: the forged works, the wood and
the walls have been reinforced and all the space has been paved and converted
into an exhibition hall (display cabinets, bookcases…).
In this room you will be able to look at
genuine art pieces: beautiful bronze models from the 19th and 20th centuries
which gave birth to a great number of products. Some of these were delicate and
meticulous chisel works, beautifully shaped sculptures, old wood trees (walnut,
holm oak…) and they were used to work and to embellish the brass layers, and at
the boxes of melting shell. The room is also a very significant mirror of what
originally was the "Cuarto de Modelos" (“Model Room”) located in the
upper floor.
